Neue DeFi – Futures ermöglichen Absicherung gegen Bitcoin – Mining – Probleme

DeFi hype about SushiSwap: Why analysts are still bullish even after the 400% rally

SUSHI, the native token of SushiSwap, has risen sharply even after the recent drop since the October lows. From its all-time low of just over $ 0.50, the cryptocurrency has shot up to $ 3.

Even at the current price of $ 2.65, SUSHI is up more than 400 percent from the lows.

Chart of the SUSHI price action over the past two months. Source: TradingView.com.
This ongoing rally in the once controversial cryptocurrency comes amid positive developments as it seeks to eat up the market share that Uniswap has stolen for itself.

Crypto Genius is trying to increase its dominance with increased liquidity incentives and new features – along with a Yearn.finance partnership that should help with the sustainability of the platform.

Why does SUSHI keep increasing despite the weak DeFi performance?

SUSHI has clearly been an outperformer in the DeFi space for the past few months, while other decentralized finance coins have „only“ seen 100 percent rallies or something.

The strong rally can be pinned to a number of fundamental trends for the Ethereum- based altcoin.

Some of these are as follows:

First and foremost, the „BentoBox“ offering from SushiSwap is expected to start soon. BentoBox is a way for users to take advantage of margin leverage on any token with a supported pair.

As crypto investor Future Fund notes, the offering is now much more extensive three months later – and that can increase Sushi’s performance.

“BentoBox has developed from a pure rental solution to its own unique, modular safe. It has the ability to save not only loan contracts, but also several protocols and extensions. “

Along with the original value proposition that investors in the ever-changing DeFi space can more easily trade and speculate in coins like Ethereum , BentoBox also offers synthetic assets like stablecoins, company stocks and gold.

In addition, SUSHI is expected to increase in value through this new offering as platform fees are distributed to the holders of the coin.

BentoBox is currently under review, and some reports suggest it will be released soon. In addition, the Yearn.finance partnership is expected to show that SushiSwap has a long-term existence as a fundamental decentralized exchange of the Yearn ecosystem.

Verkkorikolliset voivat kuitenkin suosia erilaista kryptovaluutta tulevina kuukausina.

Securelistin raportti kuuluu:

„Meidän pitäisi odottaa, että verkkorikolliset siirtyvät kauttakulkuneuvoihin valuuttojen lataamiseksi uhreilta. On syytä uskoa, että he saattavat siirtyä muihin yksityisyyttä parantaviin valuuttoihin, kuten Monero, käyttämään niitä ensin siirtymävaluuttana ja sitten muuntaa varat mihin tahansa muuhun valitsemaan kryptovaluuttaan, mukaan lukien BTC. „

Kuten Cointelegraph on aiemmin ilmoittanut, salaukseen liittyvät rikokset hidastuivat merkittävästi vuonna 2020, vaikka joistakin salaussektoreista, kuten hajautetusta rahoituksesta, on tullut uusia rikollisen toiminnan kasvupaikkoja. Virtuaalisen yksityisverkkoyrityksen Atlas VPN: n raportin mukaan salaukseen ja lohkoketjuun liittyvät hakkeroinnit todennäköisesti vähenevät edelleen vuonna 2021.

PayPal CEO: Now is the time to adopt consumer crypto payments

PayPal CEO Dan Schulman says now is the time for crypto payments to go mainstream.

Schulman claims he is a fan of all forms of digital currencies.

The use of cash has been declining since containment.

The era of widespread adoption of crypto payments is near according to PayPal CEO Dan Schulman.

As more consumers switch to cashless, crypto and digital currencies are becoming more and more popular.

The coronavirus pandemic is also triggering a sort of quantum leap in digitization, which could lead to a wider culture of species drops.

Paypal: crypto payments become mainstream

In an interview with New York Times columnist Andrew Ross-Sorkin at the ongoing Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, the CEO of PayPal said COVID-19 is accelerating the global adoption of crypto for digital payments.

According to Schulman, what would have taken three to five years is now happening in a much shorter period of time.

Commenting on the potential for Bitcoin Profit scam and digital currencies to become mainstream, Schulman said:

I think if you can make a financial system, a new and modern technology that is faster, cheaper, more efficient, it will help bring more people into the system, for inclusion, to help reduce costs, to help improve the financial health of so many people […] So in the long run I’m very optimistic about digital currencies of all kinds.

Schulman’s comments come in the context of PayPal’s recent foray into the crypto space. In November, the PayPal chief said global adoption of digital currency was a matter of time, not a possible option.

According to a recent survey by Mizuho Securities, around 65% of PayPal customers are willing to use crypto for online payments. Indeed, more than a fifth of the 346 million active customers of the company have already purchased cryptocurrency on the platform.

The money is not dead yet

While the coronavirus-induced quantum digitization leap remains a high possibility, money is not yet dead, although its use shows signs of decline.

According to a 184-page European Central Bank (ECB) consumer payments report, cash remains the most popular form of payment in the region.

However, the report notes a significant shift in payment culture among consumers, driven largely by improvements in electronic payment channels and fears that tickets may be a means of spreading the coronavirus.

Government policies that encourage cashless transactions are also pushing more businesses to withdraw money.

With the main financial players in the euro area, such as the President of the ECB advocating a digital euro , the time for using cash at least in Europe could be running out. Indeed, several governments are looking for sovereign digital currencies to ward off competition from private stablecoins.

UK Department of Finance draws up regulations for stablecoins

UK revealed it is working on regulations for stablecoins while conducting research on digital coins

Yesterday, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak announced that there will be future regulatory proposals for stablecoins. Sunak also mentioned that the department was exploring digital currencies.

One section of the announcement said: „New technologies like stablecoins – privately issued digital coins – can transform the way people store and exchange their money, making payments cheaper and faster.

The announcement also highlighted the Treasury’s Bitcoin Code plan to enact a green taxonomy – a move that will help establish the UK’s position in green finance.

„The UK will also implement a green taxonomy – a common framework for determining which activities can be defined as environmentally sustainable – which will improve understanding of the impact of business activities and investments on the environment and support our transition to a sustainable economy.

Sunak anticipates that the financial services sector will lead the country in the right direction with respect to CBDCs and stablecoins.

„We are beginning a new chapter in the history of financial services and renewing the UK’s position as the world’s pre-eminent financial centre. By taking as many equivalence decisions as we can in the absence of EU clarity, we are doing what is right for the UK and giving businesses certainty and stability,“ he said.

The details of the regulations are not clear at the moment. However, stablecoin initiatives are expected to meet the same standards as those applicable to entities operating with other payment methods.

The news also revealed that the central bank of England, together with the Treasury, was looking for a digital currency option. Chancellor Sunak talked a lot about the work of the two bodies.

Sunak posted on Twitter, saying: „We will publish a consultation to ensure that the new privately issued currencies, stablecoins, meet the high standards we expect from other payment methods. And @bankofengland & Treasury are considering whether central banks can issue their own digital coins, as a complement to cash“.

Halloween Special 2020: Horror Stories of Crypto Investments

BeInCrypto has collected accounts from two traders about their most nightmarish crypto investments.

Monsieur-TK and Bitcoin Up returned to their worst anecdotes in the industry and gave some advice to avoid making the same mistakes.

The Trust Project is an international consortium of news organizations based on transparency standards.

This Saturday, October 31, two traders shared their worst experiences with cryptocurrency investments with us.

Funds gone to ashes

The first trader to share his anecdote with us is Monsieur-TK , also a miner and French YouTuber . In his case, these are two nightmarish investments, through Cryptopia and Cryptobridge.

“[These were] two platforms that were on the rise in 2017 and where I traded a lot of shitcoins,” he explained. After managing to generate some gains, he admitted to being swayed by the “always wanting more” mentality, ignoring the basic principle of the motto “not your keys, not your coins”, and thus omitted to bring his coins back to his own personal wallets.

Monsieur-TK then relearned this principle the hard way when both platforms closed, which resulted in the loss of virtually all of his funds:

In short, the little that I managed to gain in trading was almost entirely lost with the closures of both platforms …

Looking back, he also acknowledged that these platforms were not trustworthy and “far from secure exchanges like Binance”

“I was really very, very scared”, he confided, “not directly because of the amount lost […] but rather to tell me that it would perhaps happen to other platforms (even the most secure) ”. Taken by a “wind of panic”, he then repatriated all of his crypto funds to his wallets, with his own keys. That said, he also found himself “off-chain”, unable to quickly sell or buy parts and subsequently missed a few important waves of purchases, finding himself a double loser.

Moral of the story, Monsieur-TK now knows perfectly well that we “are never safe from a theft or a hack”, noting moreover that Mt. GOX is the very proof of this. He says he has since opted for “maximum security”, leaving all of his funds in his portfolios and only trading on major exchange platforms, before withdrawing his coins as quickly as possible.

In conclusion, he gives all traders this simple advice:

Leave only the bare minimum on exchanges, even the largest!

For his part, the trader and influencer CryptoThib suffered his worst investment this year with the KIMCHI , in the middle of the DeFi frenzy of “food” tokens. “Even after three years in crypto, you can still make BIG mistakes,” he admitted, adding that he got carried away by a feeling of frenzy, as he found himself winning on 90% of his trades.

My folio had swelled like Uncle André after Christmas dinner, basically I had gained too much confidence in myself and I was not wary enough.

CryptoThib fell from a height when Kimchi Finance then suffered a terrible crash. Still largely winning on all of his trades, he has not suffered much from these losses, but admits to having kept the “classic feeling of failure after a failed trade”. With hindsight, he recognizes a “weird” aspect in this situation, not having been able to take “the time to act on the moment when I could have come out of this damn trade many times”.

In the end, it is for him a “beautiful lesson more”, which taught him what is the famous “rugpull”, when a trader finds himself with the cut grass under the feet.

Going forward, CryptoThib believes it will seek direct contact with the developers of a protocol or verify its code before embarking on a new investment. He also recalls that it is often about gambling with high-risk tokens:

I know that the risk is high and that absolutely anything can happen.

EXPOJUD presents Blockchain Panel with experts

Event for legal professionals showed the application of this new technology in several areas.

The digital edition of EXPOJUD in 2020 presented last Wednesday (14) a Blockchain Panel. With several experts invited, the topic was explored for legal professionals to learn more about the concept.

Blockchain technology is old in the world, but it gained traction with Bitcoin in 2009. By solving the problems

In the 2020 edition, EXPOJUD had a fully online edition due to the new coronavirus pandemic. Four experts were invited to discuss blockchain issues at the event.

The panel included: Antônio Carlos Braga (Substitute Second Degree Judge of the TJSP), Maurício Magaldi (Blockchain Expert and BlockDrops Podcast Presenter), Giuseppe Janino (Information Technology Secretary of the TSE) and Gustavo Sanches (IT Superintendent of ANAC).

EXPOJUD Online presents a Blockchain Panel for legal professionals

With the municipal elections being one of the hottest issues in Brazil today, the issue was the subject of an important debate last Wednesday. With a Blockchain Panel within the EXPOJUD event, several specialists were able to give their opinion on the subject.

According to Gustavo Sanches, from the National Civil Aviation Agency, Estonia is an example country today to use the blockchain for digital voting. For him, this technology does not apply to every situation, nor is it the solution for everything. However, it is an important technology today and full of opportunities.

Sanches pointed out that in Brazil, the blockchain is already in great use in the public sector. The specialist pointed out that ANAC, Central Bank, Bank of Brazil, BNDES, Caixa Econômica Federal, DataPrev, Petrobras, Receita Federal, Ministry of Economy, among others, already use the technology.

For Maurício Magaldi, the blockchain is an infrastructure technology. He cited Bitcoin Machine applications in several countries, such as Uganda, that the technology prevents counterfeiting of medicines in the public network. In India, notarial use for property registration also shows progress.

Magaldi considers that Estonia is indeed a digital country today. However, he believes that the blockchain should bring major innovations to the public sector worldwide.

Sao Paulo judge believes blockchain is „the technology of trust“

For TJSP Judge Antônio Carlos Braga, the blockchain is the technology of trust. In an electoral process, the judge believes that the two fundamental pillars are secrecy and trust.

According to Antônio, the blockchain is the candidate to be part of the electronic voting system. However, the judge considered that even with the blockchain being highly secure, it must be ensured that voters understand that there is trust in the electoral system.

A member of the Supreme Electoral Court, the TSE, Giuseppe Janino complemented the other participants‘ speech by saying that Brazilian electoral justice is attentive to innovations. For him, Brazil today uses elements present in the blockchain, such as cryptography.

Janino also recalled that the TSE today is perhaps the only public body to reach all Brazilians, even those living in remote places. For him, implementing a voting solution, even with blockchain, should certainly consider these inclusion challenges.

„We are keeping an eye on the use of blockchain, of course. We are always open trying to implement continuous improvement of the Brazilian electoral system. We know that this process has a cost and has difficulties and burdens to guarantee this form of voting,“ Giuseppe Janino said.

Finally, Giuseppe said that the TSE is already watching Hyperledger, a private blockchain.
