"In response to a number of allegations made against Michael Jackson in the Sunday newspapers, in the United Kingdom, Michael has authorised the following statement to be made. Michael Jackson is authorising the release of excerpts from video-tape taken while Bashir was interviewing Michael Jackson, in which Martin Bashir was recorded.

AP - SANTA BARBARA, California (September 9, 2003) - Five months after an inspection of Jackson’s Neverland Ranch revealed he was getting an undeserved property tax break, county officials apparently are ready to accept the pop star’s offer to remove his house, amusement park and zoo from the agricultural preserve program.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A $12 million lawsuit against Michael Jackson by former financial advisers that could have revealed details of his finances has been settled, his lawyer said Wednesday.
